Read Bible Code 1 and 2... both very good books, extremely convincing!

The way I see it is, they are either true and we should be worried or they are the one of the biggest hoaxes ever... you choose!

Well worth the read tho :)

it's bollocks..... works with any book, specially big ones.

Someone has tried this properly with other books and you can get similair results with anything

Apparently, it doesn't work on any other book... war and peace was used as an example.

You will get results, for example you could find kennedy, dallas, shot and president in the same skip sequence in any given book... but this is bound to happen if you go though a significant amount of books... however (apparently) the first few books of the bible has the said details plus the date and so many other relevant details to make it mathematically more than chance.

I'm not saying I believe it and I certainly wont debate about its truth... but it did pass through a respected mathematics journals screening process and has directly predicted events.

The great thing is... if it is true... the world may end in 2006!!! :cool2:

No such thing, statistical significance is the most contrived idea in all maths I have ever heard of.

I'll take your word for it... I am useless at maths and have no idea whatsoever when it comes to anything more than basic arithmatic! :dunce: :D

I agree it's bollocks. The earliest books of the bible were originally written in a form of Hebrew spoken before it contained vowels. The documentary used versions of the books which contained vowels.

The original books of the torah were also written to be one continual line of text with no gaps or vowels... this is the one the book uses... or so it says.

I do agree tho... it is highly unlikely but a good read anyway.
