Billy Nasty Anyone know if he is still DJ'ing? Saw him once at dig upstairs years ago,never seen his name on any line ups for ages.
Freaky Dancing had him on a while back he played hard as nails techno for 2 hours wasnt my cup of tea really.
It was at the Uni, I was doing a live set before him and he was a bit worse for wear from the old marching powder, he came on after I was playing and clipped the mixer to fuck, didn't mix particularly well, played hard as nails techno and it sounded shit......... The monitors were fucked like, but they always are in the uni, when oliver ho played last month they kept on overheating and switching themselves off. You'd think after the lenght of time they've been doing nights at the union they'd be able to sort a) a decent sound system, and b) some decent monitors, It's no wonder people hate playing the uni when you can't mix properly. It's a shame because when it's rocking down there it's mint but the sound system ALWAYS lets the place down... But then when I saw him at Queens Day in Amsterdam in a Park, he fuckin rocked the place!!!! Aside from that, he is still DJing, he's probably one of the longest serving of them all at the minute, helped to forge the UK and international techno scene from it's birth, and is still doing now... Bit of an ego........
