If you didn't agree to it (by texting in) then you can get your money back.

What short-code (5 digit number) do they come from?

I never agree'd to it. I'm aware that I have a taxi coming for a certain time so i don't need to pay extra for a txt reminder.

i got charged 50p everytime i got one of those messeges like - according to my bill. the robbing bastards.

i suppose its a fair trade off since the taxi fare's are so cheap.

Newcastle to S.shields - 13 and a half quid.... score

It's a 25p short code (costs 25p for each text they send to you).

I would start by calling blue line and ask them how and when you agreed to the charges, if you did not (to be honest people usually have agreed but just didn't read the small print) then you need to ask for a payment to cover what you have been billed (they probably won't be able to refund it to your bill).

If you are getting nowhere ask for the details of the company that owns the short code (I'd be amazed if they own it themselves as they cost shit loads) then speak to them. If you have not texted in the first place in response to an offer or advert that clearly states the costs involved you will get your money back (if you can be arsed to push it far enough).

    Good luck. :)
