    Bone Marrow

Alright. Really odd question and probs wont be able to help but worth a shot. Has anyone given bone marrow before or know anyone who has? I wana know if it knacks. Im sure it does since it says you may need to stay in hospital for upto 48hrs and off work for upto 5 days. :spangled:

Thats what I get in my mind when people mention bone marrow for some reason :spangled:

Rach - I just asked my lass about it and she said it would be excruciating..

    Think carefully about it..

I'm going to look into this, just applied for some extra info on it.

Also going to start giving blood, I've been meaning to for ages and I can't believe I've left it this long, about time I got round to it. :)

I think it's because of the old dog food adverts, it mentions it has marrow in and had something that looked like that.:spangled:

Yeah but surely worth it if youre giving someone else a chance at life. Ive filled my form in, gonna speak to work about it today. But says you have to hand the form in next time you give blood. Only Ive just given blood so I wont be able to hand it in for like 16 weeks or whatever it is. Im gonna call them later :D

Nice one Jill. Just mention it when you start giving blood and they take an extra sample from you to test your tisue
