He is not on top form, but he can be solid... Would like to see a taylor, bamble combo as Bramble was in top form before he got injuered last season

Hes just off form at the moment, like the whole of the defence and midfield..with the exception of N'zogbia to be honest Taylor is no better at the moment, and getting sent off yesterday just proved it, he was lucky to not to be sent off earlier and still kept doing stupid fouls, could have cost us on another day
when do really good defenders ever go through bad spells? top strikers sometimes don't score top midfielders are sometimes quiet but top defenders don't make the mistakes boum has been of late. got no idea why he's doing this
I thought Boumsong looked good but he gets dragged out of posititon and makes poor decisions. He needs someone beside him with some composure.
I'm confident Boumsong will be alright, fingers crossed when the injuries clear up and we get a settled side week after week, it'll help the team as a whole loads. Think back to February/March time when Boumsong and Bramble put in some quality performances, and the defence looked really solid. He can get back to that easy.
Did not see how he defended which is his main job so goals in not really a sign of how well he is defending... End of last season he was not in the 1st team when fit tho
