Bushwacka - Walk Like An Egyptian

Only just heard this record now, after hearing a lot about. How bad can one record be?

If it wasn't bad enough that the original track he's chosen to remix is absolute crap, he's made an absolute dog's breakfast of remixing it.

For those of you that haven't heard it, check: http://217.158.65.110/MP3/SF153287-01-01-01.mp3

On the original 12" from way back when (the date escapes me), the dub mix is awesome full of FX's and delays real nice!

I'll not have a bad word said against Bushwacka......he's the best producer in the world by a long shot....end of.

Why couldn't he use that as a foundation then?

Have to disagree there mind Ross. Bushwacka has done some alright stuff over the years, but I can't help but feel that this isn't his best work...

Agreed its not his best work.....but he made it for a laugh and nothing more to play last tune at DC10 last summer....the fact that its been released is purely incidental.

If some unknown had of made this record then I would have been sceptical, but its his work in the past that makes the difference.

Thats exactly it....I think he chose the wrong record to remix in the first place....he done the best he possibly could with it.

He hit the nail on the head with Billie Jean.....

Just had a listen to that clip and that's only a small section of the record.....there's a lot more to it than that believe me.
