you could use a US based proxy server eg. www.anonymouse.org However this means routing your credit card info through it and I cannot be certain of the security of doing so.

Sounds like its worked. When I used to get then in $ the credit card statement converted the total in $ to £ using that days exchange rate then debited card in £s. What way did you use to get it in $?
