Taylor is over rated. If they get £20 odd million for Lescott they'd be better off trying to get Hangeland to leave Fulham or Upson to leave West Ham.

 i'm suprised they havent sniffed around wheater, they'd get him for cheaper than the £8million they will spend on Taylor

It's so sad to see how these players that have been tapped up by City are being totally seduced by the money, to the point where all their morals go out the window & they start acting like some kid when they dont get their 'big money' move instantly. Lescott was loved by the Toffee's & played with a passion for them, since all the interest from City his attitude has turned on it's head & looks like he's totally fell out with Moyes for the way in which he's been going on.

I can see how they easily get the $$ signs in their eyes but it's just sad to see how they go on when they cant get the move so quick.

Saying that John Terry wasn't coaxed into a move.

I wouldn't go that far, they're hardly signing the same calibre of player that Real Madrid have been. They've bought decent players, but spent far too much money in the process. It'll be interesting to see how well they all gel together and wether they can break into the top 4. If not then Hughes will probably get the sack, and they'll have wasted a lot of time and money because the new manager will want his own players.

Right this like, £22 million for Lescott. No way he is even close to being worth that much money. He is a quality player all the same, but thats nuts money

Suppose if you have an infinate amount of money, you can spend what you like

Totally, he's decent but not that good, Like i said Hangeland, Upson are better, even then Wheater is probs just as good, the only thing he has is goals.

I'd tell City i want £20 million for him and Nedim Onuhoa as well to make things simple, Onuhoha is class.

Even beofre Taylow too i'd se if Chelsea want to sell Mancienne.

Moyes willl probably get two decent centrebacks to replace one decent centre back, good business if 24 mill is the real figure

Lescott is worth 12 million if he was for sale but he wasnt so 24 is what they will accept. Its a sellers market if someone wants your product badly enuff but it does have knock on effects but these are only temporary the markey will return to a normalish level in a few months.

Glen Johnson for 18 mill is just as bad

Got to disagree with you there like. Ashley Cole went for 20-odd plus Gallas, so Johnson is worth at least 18. He's young, England's first choice right-back and he gives teams another dimension because he's so good going forward.
