My sister did this after university and loved every minute of it.

She was spotted by a German couple (millionaires) who asked her to be kind of au pair for their two kids back in Germany. They built her a house and all sorts of shit.

My sis hasn't been back to uk for about 5 years and keeps getting invited to do all sorts of shit all over the world by ppl she met in camp America....

She worked weekends in Top Shop when she went to Camp America but now she owns a flat in Monaco and earns thousands a week working on a luxury yacht.

This is all down to camp america and the high class of ppl you will be rubbing shoulders with.

I cant contact her for advice but Id guess they will just be looking for caring trustworthy people who will be good with kids.

if u do camp you're sposed to go for the "experience" - u come out with sfa money...

if u work u can earn a shitload.. i came out with $6k dollars (probs bout £4.5k) - worked 12 hour days 6 days a week though :( so i earnt a shitload and had a great time...

would recommend anyone whos at uni on here to do it.... initially only cos me £350 cos i got a loan from the company i did it with which i payed back when i got out there... cheap as :king:

I was supposed to go last summer, but sadly it fell thru at the last minute :(
Anyway dont worry about the interviews, they are very straight forward, one word of advice tho make sure that when they ask you how u would deal with a child that is misbehaving, make sure that you say you would talk to them with someone else with you and make sure to highlight you wouldnt be on your own to the children.

A few of my mates have been the past few years and have totally loved it! They said it was very hard work at times, but it was so worth it. They spent a number of weeks after leaving camp travling about america and had the time of their lifes!!!

Anyway good luck with it and as i say dont worry about the interviews they are basically just a general chat with one of the camp america employers :)
