canteen food it tastes like shit. like school dinner food. is my work only place with shitey food. in a business park with no fecking places to go and eat! :fart:
Any amounts of Sandwich options, pasta, salad, most places have microwaves for staff so you could take a ready meal!
anah, but the carry on takin it in etc, and sandwiches arent the same as deli sandwiches etc.. need nice quality food! it wouldnt be hard to do. i hear northern rock have good canteen, can anyone confirm this?
They are if you buy nice bread, not just a normal standard issue loaf and decent fillings... Its loads cheaper aswell!
yes loads of nice bread, but fillings get boring, as ill normally only have different types of chicken.. im a fussy eater.
thats my point, i mean they get shite caterers in, charge extortionate prices e.g 50p for packet of crisps that are 35in shops. and the food they serve (hot) is rubbish, i wudnt serve it to the starving in africa.
its a rip off where i work, fucking 40p for an apple. 80p for a machine cappucino that tastes like shite. 3.60 for a small plate of whatever shite theyve knocked up, total fucking rip
my canteen is well cheap, cause they get all the food from downstaris in the shop, the foods not amazing but some stuff is good and its cheap so you can't complain really.
food in my canteen at work is awesome, really nice and dead cheap. plus we get free drinks, like juice, tea, coffee etc. the food that they put in the vending machines is really cheap aswell because its subsidised. oh yeah, and we have a pool table, darts board and a bandit,which is a bonus! and no, i dont work in a pub
