    Car Boot Sale Question

Has anyone ever done one before? I'm thinking of doing one to get rid of all of my holiday clothes from last year. Most things have been worn once or twice and don't fit me anymore, not sure how much you can ask for when selling em second hand though!

I don't want to be seen as greedy but at the same time I don't want to come away with nothing. Do you reckon a quarter of the price I paid for stuff is fair?

lmao @ 1/4 of original cost. A car boot sale would seal your fate as pondlife, don't they contain items for like 50p and a quid and stuff like that and only attract old people, foreigners and thieves?

    @ fish

u still get good enough money at car boots, find a GOOD car boot to go to though, get there stupidly early, lay it all out nice

Trust me they won't want to buy them if I take a picture of myself in them, they're two sizes too small.

I was thinking of Sedgefield, it's the only half decent one around here I think. Can't really be arsed messing around with Ebay, would rather just give up a Sunday morning. The worst that could happen would be me bringing it all back home again, not the end of the world.

Pondlife - You fucking mong.

I could, but the likelyhood is that it will more than likely be the asda smart price fish fingers of car boot sales rather than expensive koi carp :D

Just take them to a charity shop, it's not worth the effort.

I didn't go. Had quite a bit going on at the weekend. Got loads more stuff to sort through so it might be a couple of weeks yet :)

The whole point of me getting rid of it all is to make a bit of money. I'm all for giving to charity shops and have done it quite a few times in the past but not this time. There's too much stuff and I have an expensive time ahead of me!
