    Cheap accommodation in or around town

    Can anyone reccommend some cheap, studentish accommodation in or around town? I know the obvious (expensive) hotels centrally, but anyone know anything cheaper just outside, maybe Jesmond or something? Cheers.

    if you ring around you can get a hotel in jesmond for around £30-50 (depends on how full they are to which is cheapest), theres also a backpackers hostel near the train station for around £20...
