Cheap train fares Trying to get a return to London Kings Cross in 2 months time. Cheapest I can find is on the Trainline, and thats £182! Surely there must be somewhere cheaper?
Re: Cheap train fares i had the same problem supposed to be down there tomorrow but its far to expensive try GNER get 2 singles should work out cheaper if you buy them in advance or Virgin
depends whats available at your times... ring gner and say you want the cheapest possible ticket. the more flexible you are the better chance of cheaper tickets... plus it has been known for cheaper tickets not to be put on sale 2 months before, although that was supposed to have been stopped. cheapest you can do it for should be 20 quid but they might not be available or sold out at your times... best to enquire cos the internet wont always check around your times.
mine and amys tickets for global gathering came 2 £47 for the pair and thats return i just sed the times i wanna leave but not arsed abotu what time i cum back and where im traveling and asked for teh cheapest tickets and got em
Re: Cheap train fares Robbing B******s i can get a return air fare from newcastle to stavanger via amsterdam cheaper than that
Re: Re: Cheap train fares I actually want to go to Gatwick, and thought getting the train down might be cheaper, obviously not. It's £53 for two adults one way to Gatwick on the plane. Problem is getting back from Gatwick two weeks later. Our flight gets in at 16.45, and there's no planes to Newcastle until the next morning. :spangled: May just have to get the train back up
amen to that. shame newcastle got lumbered with gner for another few years, I did Liverpool to London on wednesday for £15 rtn with less than a days notice.. branson may be the personfication of herpes, but his trains shit on everyone else..
having been on a few virgin trains recently i have to agree... more room compared to gner's cattle class, although 1st class is a pleasant ride.
