    Whats the best one to go to in Newcastle?

    I havent tried cafe nero yet

    I was in the starbucks near the train station on tuesday, the staff were slow, inchorent and rude. Plus the free paper was the guardian. Avoid. :lol:

    The costa near the gate is quite good, for the only reason that the upstairs is usually quite quiet.

    Other than that - ive lost my love of coffee shops these days. The tables are generally scruffy, the coffee barely hotter than tepid,.... and theres so many people around that you never feel like you can sit down and actually do what these places make out like your supposed to do..... chill out and relax.

    I only ever get coffee's to takeaway from them now - or make them at home on my espresso machine. Ten times better.
