Corona World DJ Competition On Friday 21st July Corona will be hosting the Newcastle leg of their World DJ Competition at The Other Rooms. The winner will progress to the regional final (North) in September and then if successful to the UK final in October at Ministry of Sound. One DJ will represent the UK in the World final in Berlin in November. There are some mad prizes including a Kaoss Pad, Nord Keyboards and a 4X4 for the winner!!! Entrants will be judged on the following criteria: Tempo Cues, Speed of Mix, Technical Originality, Level Control + Risk Taking All musical styles are welcome. Each entrant will get 15 mins to impress the judges and two will be selected to go through to a 30 min showdown at the end of the night. Doors open at 7pm to 10.30pm and entry is free.
