Czech drivers plug gap A taxi firm has travelled 750 miles to Eastern Europe to recruit drivers because of a shortage in the UK. Station Taxis, which is based in Darlington, County Durham, has set up a training school in Prague because it cannot find any taxi drivers in the North East to fill vacancies.
