It's cost them $8000 to get him to play apparently.

DLC's been booked before and cancelled last minute though so I'm not getting my hopes up too much. Should be class though, one of the best DJs I've seen this year (Although not as good as Sneak :p)

I've never seen Derrick Carter or heard any of his tapes. Is he really good or more famous for just being one of the founders of house music

It's not that he wasn't good, he just wasn't what I expected, and wasn't anywhere near as good as Sneak. Be worth seeing again though.

TOMAS > I think he'd appeal to a lot of people on here, he plays a hell of a lot of his 'boompty boomp' trademark stuff. Bangs away at 130BPM with some really swingy stuff for good measure ;)

Oh, BB, have you any idea how expensive Farina is?! He's playing in the North of England soon, but I'm not allowed to say anymore yet ;)

You listened to that CD yet? :p
  19. Guest

Hifi's a bit fucked at the minute, can't get the cd drawer open. Realised last night though that i could just either use my dvd player, or listen to it in the car, so i'll probs listen to it this week.

Not like I want to sound like Im moaning but I'm always disappointed in Shindigs line-ups. Its the same old every month with the odd surprise now and then (eg Derrick Carter)

Look at the End's line-up for Dec: Laurant Garnier, Paul Jackson, Darren Emerson, Osgar G, Mutiny and a Classic Recordings NYE.
