    I know what you mean.

There are times when it sounds absolutely amazing, but a lot of the time it's too loud and the bassbins upstairs sometimes seem a bit overwhelmed.

I remember the sound at digweed was far too quiet, i was half way up the dancefloor and could have a full on conversation with someone, when i go clubbing i wanna wake up with my ears ringing and unable to hear for a fortnight :D

haha foundations sounded good for the first couple of hours, later on in the night everything sounded as though it was being played through a telephone, there was no bass and everything sounded tinny, still i loved foundation

ahh funktion 1 is good, but when you have a prototype better than dolby 5.1 with funktion 1 sound and the owner of funktion 1 sound tweeking it himself it wins hands down. :)

Sorry to hijack an old thread but I haven't been on in ages....

The sound system in digital Brighton is the best sound system I have ever heard in any nightclub anywhere! It's not the same as Digital Newcastle, for a start there are 2 stacks instead of 4. Also it doesn't have the 218/Infrabass combination that the dance stacks in Newcastle have, instead it has three 221s in each stack. IMO it sounds loads better than digital Newcastle.

I heard that Digital newcastle is getting an overhaul of it's sound system shortly.

@ Rossy, the sound systems in both Digitals have been tweaked and delayed by Funktion One owner - Tony Andrews.

Oh and yeah the sound system they hired for new years eve shindig @ foundation was awesome, it was 12 stacks of D&B C4, that's almost exactly the same system as they have in the main room at tall trees now.

Its great that clubs seem to be spending more time getting the soundsystems just right

Makes a night out that bit better if you can actually hear the tunes clearly and what your mates are saying
