digital cameras/lenses.... right...basically i want a fisheye lens for my advent mp8 camera that i bought from currys last year, its nowt special and doesnt have and threads for a lens to go into..so how can i do it ? ive got no idea of the measurements either.... someone help ! heres a foto of it if it helps....thanks
Well, I say you can't...i'm not certain but I would say it was extremely unlikely. Bear in mind that compact cameras do not have the standard lens diameters that you find on digital video cameras and SLRs/DSLRs so from a production point of view it probably wouldn't be good business sense to mass produce a fish eye lens for an individual model where there won't be much of a market for it. No thread...no joy really!

It might be alright mate but then again it might be proper shit. It appears to just be a lens adapter as it were, like sticking the end of a bottle over your lens. Unless you have a camera where you can physically change the lens itself you probably won't get the results you want.
