DJs needed for Oxjam charity event @ Chase, Durham - Sun 29th Oct We are currently seeking DJs to play at an Oxjam charity event at Chase in Durham on the evening of Sunday 29th October. Oxjam is a music festival organised by Oxfam which runs throughout October. Oxjam is Oxfam’s biggest, most ambitious, music event ever. We’re asking musicians, promoters – in fact, everyone – to put on all kinds of music events during October to raise money for Oxfam. Classical, club night, mambo and metal, it'll add up to one huge, UK-wide, Oxjam festival – raising thousands of pounds to fight poverty. And we need YOU to make it happen. Dance music of any genre will be considered and transport from Newcastle city centre MAY be available on the night of the gig on a first come, first served basis. Basically, we need DJs to play various stuff between 8 and 11 (the time that you would be on would depend on what you play, obviously). Depending on how much interest we get, sets should be about 45 mins or a hour but could be a bit less. It all depends how many are interested. Obviously, all money made will go to Oxfam.
