    yack - hated school uniforms.

Although they are a necessity methinks... not a good idea to turn school into a fashion show.

Black trousers, black blazer and a black tie - ponteland high school

Ours was black trousers, white shirt, a black/green/gold tie that looked very similar to that of the Safeway Managerial staff, and an optional green jumper, with a big stupid gold crest on it :king:

None of my year had to wear a tie. They didnt have a tie until just before we were leaving I think. We didnt even have to wear a shirt or blouse. Everyone wore polo t shirts. Its when younguns like yourself started that they were getting stricter on the uniform

Yep, I had one too. But they didnt have ties for the rest of the school when we started. Think they introduced it when we were in the 2nd year and we didnt have to wear them, only the poor people who started after us. Was the same with the PE uniform
