Went to Promise first time on Feb 15 - Kelly and Hardwick were on fire. My question: is security usually that rigorous, I got airport treatment without an internal, or did I look like a dodgy out- of -towner? Well off to The Gallery@Turnmills tomorrow night and might go to Passion@ Milton Keynes on Saturday..wished I lived nearer to Newcastle.

na there usually class with this kinda stuff! never search many people unless they are completely bong-eyed!

i have NEVER been searched @ promise.....
just depends, i think its probably random...

Searches for promise usually aren't that riigerous (like other big clubs cream, sundis, etc.)... however with a name like k-holed my guess is your not the senseiblist looking sorts, therefore you can hardly question why you get searched... btw mate promise has a zero tolerance on drugs... many of us do drugs - but not of us blatantly publicise this fact, I suggest you change your name.

Also why you may of been searched is over the last few weeks Promise have been very heavy handed on drugs in the club... the searches ahve been more vigourous and the dealers are getting chucked out... I'm guessing this is the reason you had a rigerous search, these will relax over time I'm guessing.

but promise operates zero tolerance on drugs...

has any1 been to ikon lately (not Michael) fookin hell! theve declared marshall law on the doors everybody gets searched with wallets torn 2 shreads, and even socks b-in searched!

i say good luck to any1 who wants to put their fingers in my socks!

Theres been a major crack down over the last month, mainly because of a few people who used to go there, there just trying to get on top of things, u cant blame them really

i have been searched and thought it was quite fair (well as fair as a search can be). unlike the search at sundiss @ the weekend which i found quite intimidating. the bloke spent 20 minutes sifting through my jelly tots, looking up at me every few minutes giving me a dodgey look!!!!

LOL I was he kept giving me really evil looks and he was sooooo dragging it out he was looking at me like "if you've got owt, i'm gonna find it." then he starts going round my waistline and down my socks it was well harsh like took fookin ages and there was a fookin massive que outside. Tis a disgraceful invasion of privacy.

Well actually it wasn't that bad. Quite thorough tho....

went through evrything i had, wallet, the lot
and they took everyones chewing gum off them at the door does any1 know why they do that?

must be cos it ends up stuck all over the club

Or they are too tight to by some ! lol who knows ???

ur not allowed chewy in a lot of clubs.. cos as comedown says it gets everywhere (code, sanctury, cream, camden palace, etc.)

i hate it when chewing gum starts to not stick together in your mouth....arrgghghghg!

marissa often goes to sleep with her chewy still in her mouth and then out it drops when shes asleep and gets everywhere!hehehe
