Drum'n'bass I know most people on this board are into kouse and trance but what do they think of drum'n'bass Personally I don't mind it now and again but get a bit bored of it after about half an hour Class tunes Roni Size - Brown Paper Bag Roni Size - Heroes Jonny L - Piper
I like Latin-tinged D&B/Liquid Funk, DJ Marky/Patifé/V Recordings style. I also like DJ SS though, from what I've heard, and Fabio & Grooverider were very very hard on Radio 1 the other night. Nice
I absolutely love drum n bass. I like pretty much all of it. Only seen a couple of drumn bass DJs. Seen Grooverider and Kosheen, but still haven't been to a drum n bass night (saw them both at Leeds festival). Looking forward to Andy C on Feb 8th tho! Classic drum n bass tracks: Dom and Roland - Imagination Blame - Music Takes You Grooverider - Where's Jack the Ripper? Roni Size - It's a Jazz Thing Dillinja - Grimey DJ Zinc - Toothbrush Breakbeat Era - Ultra Obscene Roni Size - Lucky Pressure DJ Zinc - Casino Royale There's so many to choose from tho!
I used to be well into Drun n Bass... Roni Size-Brown Paper Bag was amazing, as was Dirty Beats! Used to be huge into the Aphrodite/Micky Finn, Urban Takeover shit, seen Brockie, DJ Rap, Fabio n Grooverrider, Nicky Blackmarket, Ed Rush n Optical, Andy C...
Juss my m8 is part of a duo called elements of noize, he plays turbulence @ the uni. he's amazing with D&B, also works in flying records handy guy to know

ive seen roni size to a DJ set, and seen hm and his 'crew' to a live set. Both were amazing, a total experience. the bass almost crushed my chest.
yvonne's the 1 to really ask..........amy knows about as much as me on the subject of drum & bass!!! & i own more drum n bass than her!!!
going 2 c andy c soon@turbulance love my drum n bass big fan of breakbeat era and the indie d n b... but still love my ardcore stuff like optical n ed rush etc.
Anyone who thinks Turbulence is good should check out Curves @ WHQ. Although it doesn't get the big djs in (it does get some up-and-coming ones) the atmosphere, mixing and tunes are far superior than Turbulence. For me Turbulence seems to be an excuse to get absolutely fucked (not for everyone I know) whereas Curves is about the music. The first one of the new term should be coming up soon. Check up their website HERE.
Actuallly, after looking at the website myself it seems that they don't know when the next night will be because of WHQ changing venue. If I find out anything first I'll let anyone interested know.
lol, Turbulence is full of well underage kids all fucked off there faces, there all sprawled out on the floor and in the toilets by about 12, there well jokes...
Yeah it was... i think there taking a bit of stance on it, loads weren't let in and loads were kicked out of the place after getting in.
Im very tempted, my mate is a resident MC in the hip hop room, so i should go and see him, depends on the cash flow situation. Its live on 1 xtra isnt it?, LDouble's on aswell i think, think i may be there.
