Im usually as big a critic of Eddie as anyone but i thought he was tremendous. Usually hes all over the place choping and changing between styles etc. But at Global he just got his bosh bag out and destroyed the place. Yeh it was too fast, yeh it was even a bit cheesy but proper hard trance at that time was wot was required. I have NEVER heard Eddie play like that. No techno just hard ass trance. Shame he spoiled it a little with the loop da loop trick on Adagio for Strings. Teh tune didnt fit into his set for a start with wot he played But it was a minor blip for me
Techincally eddie is a genius! But his sets are shit and random as fuck! I use to like him but the novelty wears off after a while! I thought he was gash a GK
eddie was absolutely shite at global. playing far too fast, and he pissed about that much that i forgot which tune was on!!

Eddie can be fucking class, SSNE about 4/5 years ago, his first 3 sets at promise, bosh cd1, promise the night before global last year, even promise 4th birthday in april he was good, though he hasnt got a clue when to stop playing records, and hasnt got any consistency at all. now and again he'll pull a top drawer set out of the bag, and because of his technical ability when he does hes totally awesome, but hes not doing it nearly as much now as he was 3/4years ago imo.
