ALSO ON RADIO THIS WEEK Gonzalo - Trade Resident is on Galaxy (SUNDAY 1AM-3AM). Could someone please record this show on CD for me? It would be greatly appreciated and there would be a beer in it the next time I c ya @ Promise!! CHEERS THE SPENCE HERE IS SOME PATTER THAT I PICKED UP OFF THE GALAXY WEBSITE ABOUT GONZALO. Gonzalo started DJ-ing in 1991 in his cultural home town of Seville in Spain. In 2 years he became resident at 2 of the city's most successfulclubs and has rocked them for a further 3 years. Meanwhile he played all over the south coast of Spain, playing at gigs in Madrid and also the infamous Roxy in Amsterdam. In 1997 Gonzalo decided to bring his Uplifting, Chunky beats to the Clubbing capital London, playing in smaller clubs and promoting his own successful night Speed. This resulted in Gonzalo's first big gig, Frantic, where he played alongside John '00 Fleming. As the buzz of Gonzalo circulated around London, he was asked by Laurence Malice to do a set in the now famous Trade Test Lounge. Gonzalo was immediately snatched up and hired as a Trade resident to finish off the night with his uplifting style. Since Gonzalo's success in London clubs such as the Brixton Academy, he has exported his brand to other cities around the UK,namely Sheffield, Glasgow and Manchester. Then more recently in the summer of 1999 Gonzalo played some monster sets in Ibiza's most underground club Space and played an exclusive set in Milan, Italy. He also has future gigs planned in Hong Kong, Miamiand Australia. Gonzalo is our tip for the top, he has already produced his first track for the Trade label called Attitude which has raced into the club charts and into many DJ's boxes. He has other excitingproductions on the way, including a collaboration with Alan X and Baby Doc. In summary now Gonzalo is under the ever successful Management team of Trade Management, he is sure to arrive to a club near you soon...

it sounds cool as fuck when Eddie is on Radio 1 and they put his name over the top of the tracks. surely it won't be long before he gets his own slot on R1 or Glaxaxy. he was alright last night i'll have to listen to it really loud in work though before i can give a proper rating.
