    Eminem Quiting...

After listening to some of his more violent tracks.. the tracks where he just rips into everyone.. I really hope this guy doesn't quit hip hop..

The tracks I've been listenin to 2night are all fucking awesome.. hes by far the most innovative gangsta style rapper in the post 2pac/biggie era..
His gansta style tracks are soooooo much better than majority of the tracks he releases in the charts..

Some of the tallent he has unearthed are also fucking great.. 5o cent, Obie Trice, Stat Quo.

His production is also second to none.. the tracks he produced on the latest 2pac album and the few hes done on Obie Trice/G-Unit albums are also top knotch!

I know that majority of people on this board fucking despise hip hop but those of you who like it know what I mean.
Kinda hope he does a Jay Z instead
    What you guys think?

I liked him but his recent material hasnt been that good

His production aint either compared to say Dre...

He's loaded now, either way i'd imagine he'll be one happy bunny.

His "diss" tracks are still the best in the business..
He done a awesome track on the end of the last Obie Trice album..

Obvioulsy his production is nowhere near dre's levels but its still a tall leap above many in the business and he has been taught by the best..

I love all the old 2pac stuff (I havent heard the new album) but the new Elton John Track?

Would Tupac ever duet with Elton if he was alive? I dont think he would have, and the songs gash anyway.

Let Tupac R.I.P and stop ruining his legacy with substandard stuff he wouldnt have put out himself

    Rant over :chill:

i've never really liked him.. or his stuff... or his sound - and the amount of charvers that try copy him in talent shows makes me want to cut my ears off

Dre as a producer is unbeatable... he's still got a lot of credability - unlike a certain ice-cube

    Re: Eminem Quiting...

bollox, he cant produce for shit just like 95% of all hip hop producers.

dont get me wrong i like hip hop and i do like eminem (well atleast his old stuff when he was angry and had something to rap about) but when it comes to putting together tracks despite learning from the best hes still utter shite at this point in time.

There are very few decent hip hop producers, Dre, Kanye, Timberland, The Neptunes, Mike Elizondo, Scott Storch, and to be honest as good as these guys are they still aren't all that special compared to the talent in other genre's its just that they look so much better compared to the other shite in hip hop.

Eminens only released a couple of good tracks and like people said they were his more serious ones, bling and comedy has no place in rap, it just sounds shit.
The only rap that appeals to me tho is NWA :)

    Re: Eminem Quiting...

Hmmm.. think I might have worded that a bit wrong like..
I still stand by what I say.. I listen to loads of hip hop.. ranging from the likes of Eminem through to stuff by Tony Touch, Ghostface Killa, RZA, GZA, Killah Priest etc..

Majority of the tracks he has released in the charts are nowhere near as good as the single tracks he releases and some of the stuff he does on other artists albums..

The 1st/2nd track on Soundbombing II for example.. not a gansta track but still its awesome..
Also his stuff on cheers, get rich or die trying and the soundtrack to Cradle to the grave is good.

    Quitter is also fucking gr8..

Just a opinion.. if you don't like him fine.. its ur choice..
