I ended up going to my mate's 21st on sat to a local club called bredbury hall - it's attached to a hotel (less tall trees, more ritzy carpted box) and we (read I ) decided that Sambucca's were the order of the day, i forgot they made me violently sick, i had 7, i was sick, the acid in my sick had made my vocal chords all swollen and now i can't talk properly. which is nice.

So my advice, STAY AWAY FROM SAMBUCCA!!

flaming sambuccas are shit hot

they do a variation on the flaming ferrari round my way.

1 shot glass of black sambuca, 1 white either side of a martini glass containing a shot of grenadine, a 1/2 shot of galliano, a 1/2 shot of black sambuca, and 1/2 shot of green chartreuse.

light all three, drink the martini glass through two straws, then put your handover each of the flaming sambucas, and drink white followed by black.

shots are a waste of sterling, i'd rather buy a drink and neck it

totally agree mate, a lot of fun when its not your dollar though

not to mention those horrible concoctions people knock up i.e. dirty sanchez

or aye, owt for nowt like!! i dont mind one when someones pissed and they get a round of shots in! then it tills up to about £20

we had a night out for work a few months ago, there was an unlimited bar tab. i was drinking coktails and shots all night. triple vodka and red bulls aswell. needless to say it was a messy night

Never understood why people do shots like extreme tequilas.

Shooters are great

Not at afterparties though

My personal favourite is Jagermeister.

i dont do shooters like! dont see the point in them.

Sambucca is aweful

top stuff, drinking half pints of it is not advised though.

I hadn't touched sambucca since i was 15 and violently threw up on ayia napa beach until rob bullied me into drinking black jacks
