    factory/black eye/fight club friday

Just popped out to get some lunch in town and within 100 yards I've been treated to the sight of a woman with her rack out throwing up everywhere and two drunken office types yelling abuse at the police walking past - it's like everyone outside our office is shitfaced. Not a good sign at half twelve

I know it's going to get worse when I get home - I'm working in Consett tonight and the factories there broke up for christmas at 11am, so the buggers will have been on the drink since the pubs opened

Anyone else see anything similar today?

Lads from our place get really exited that they break up for the holidays too. All day bender after work and end up carving shapes out of each other by 10pm

It is still great a day out as loads of people you know are out. I was looking at going to retro but 4 of the people I am meeting have been out early doors so I guess I will be playing it by ear.

On guildford high street, there was a woman wearing LAST SEASONS tweed style barbour jackets, and blatantly walking around doing her christmas shopping like nothing was wrong.

There was some definate tutting to be heard i can tell you.

    Heathens.

How did you enjoy that boring game football the other day? Did you stay till the end?

Im back for new years - going to the dig :)

I really enjoyed it actually! Even if we missed the actual goal since we left just before the end, and the game was pretty uneventful by football standards ...... it was great fun :) Ill definately be going back to one of these next time i can.

well after working till 12 in south shields town centre i witnessed:

    *4 Fights
*4 Major arguements, which ended with the bouncers nearly buckling them
*3 events of people being sick then drinking even more, after being told they can't have anymore and have to leave (they went on pursuit of alcohol "pint pinching" style)
*A half naked lad and a pretty much naked lass prancing about in -4 outside singing.

i'm glad i'm not working till three.

and they say south shields has lost its charm.

All my mates had been out since 11 and I got out after work at half 6. Everyone was so mortal I felt the need to get 3 shots every time I got a drink at the bar cos I couldn't cope with them. It didn't take me too long to catch up with them
