Fake cash points My mam has just told me that the cash points at Sainsburys in both Whitley Bay and Cramlington have been targetted by people replacing them with fake cash points that collect your card data and pin number. It will still give you your money so be alert and you might want to enquire with your bank or something. I've used one of the ones in question.
they put some magnetic strip thing in the slot that records your cards info then they copy it onto a blank card and use it when they won't its been happening for years.
that doesn't work with the chip cards (although it does still work for the mag strip) and a lot of banks are now fitting anti-tamper devices to the card slots of their machines.
think a jcb would do it, but i'm thinking the wall would look a little worse for wear anyone stupid enough to use a cash machine thats been stuck in a wall thats half falling down deserves to get there money stolen.
No I don't think she did. I was under the impression that they'd fit a fake cash point over the top, can't say I'm an expert really although I'm sure it's a great career if you really are a complete cunt.
