    Fergie Cover...

cd - havin heard gud stuff on the board about this, i eagerly awaited my purchase of the latest mixmag...only had time to listen to parts of the mix but sounds quality! Cover cds always seem to be better value for money than those released through club companies/labels - the last cd that completely blew me away was Marco V - free with mixmag aswell! There was also an excellent UMEK cd out previously (think with Dj). Any1 else got this yet - if u love pulsating twisted hard edged fuked up rhythmic beats then u will be very pleased! Free boost bar too was very pleasing :)

I've really gone off Fergies music at the moment.
His tune selection has been shite recently IMO!!!
There was a post on the Fergie board saying something like 'Is Fergie the best dj in the world?' Loads if people were posting yes answers. Is he fuck the best dj in the world, he should have stuck to Hard House, Tony De Vit will be turning in his grave:)

i think he's gettin better all the time - very close to my top 5. his style is gettin better by the second along with picotto. theres nothin wrong with people changing there styles - he's still young and now maybe this style will prolong with him as his cemented way. i can understand why people criticise him as he isn't the stereotypical 100% techno dj - he will play music that edges on borderlines - such as hard trance/funky techno/whatever...

He plays some good tunes sometimes but his tunes don't grab me like some other dj's tunes do. His mixing aint that good either compared to some. He's good at working the crowd at times but he is definatley not that good.
I have seen him live quite a few times and that is what I think.
I don't care if he's a techno dj or whatever. He has played Dj Elite - That Fuct Camera for over 2 years for fucks sake.
Its a good tune but even Jules was playing it before him.:)
Thats my opinion on Fergie at the moment. It could change if he gets some new tunes. He is also a shit remixer!!!:)

i agree with u about the mixin and remixin of tunes - he has only produced a handful himself! i do love his style tho - talkin about that fukt camera - jules played it last wk :D

ive also just realised that the tune that sampled ultra nates free is yomandas latest offering - and it is absolutely 100% shit - i actually think this was the tune that made evryones faces drop last week - it was early on in the set and everyone just looked at each other as to say - what the fuk! and then proceeded to sit down. and to think - 2 yrs ago i actually thought yomanda/paul masterson was ok - he's released sum crap l8ly...

as for Fergie - only seen him a few times but from that ive really got carried away
