was fucking absolutely shite at the arena, he really needs to sort himself out imo.

saw him about 1/2 hours before he was meant to go on stumbling around the concourse, stupid cunt stared at me like he was going to knock me out as i walked past him :spangled: and his set was fucking shocking.

im not really a massive techno fan though the stuff he was playing was horrible, lost a few mixes and was generally shite, compared to the fergie that rinsed promise twice last year. even then when o'bir was waiting to go on he played about 5/10 mins late, stupid twat

its just a shame dave pearce wouldnt read out my 'fergie is fucking shite, get the alcoholic off the air' text on his dance anthems show last night

Tbh he shouldnt be on trance lineups like godskitchen anymore as he dosent even play trance , infact wot the fuck does he play ? Its not even techno , just stupid fooking noises etc then sumit that sounded like a tune from the 70's or 80's slowed down as his last tune , the blokes a joke and i reckon these days he just sets out to take the piss n play wot the fuck he wants whilst makeing a good couple of grand in the process ( to spend in the bar no doubt )

    utter wank

when i saw him play in ibiza he was playing at 4am live on radio 1 from space, and we saw him on the drink in cafe mambo at 4pm with his records. a 12 hour session before closing radio 1's 10 yr in ibiza party  and apparently he was on the drink all day yesterday as well according to something on his msg board :spangled:

theres nothing wrong with dj's having a good time :p though when they lose all their ability to mix and seemingly lose all sense when it comes to tune selection after doing so then you have to ask questions like :spangled:

Why is the clown still getting booked? It's been clear for ages the punters don't want to see him.

How many people do you think actually had any idea who Fergie was at the arena on saturday. Percentage wise I reckon not many. Fergie vs MC Stompin and i can guarentee there'd be more noise for the latter.

I'd say he's pretty much in the same vein as Jules, Lashes, Tong, Oakenfold e.t.c in that even people who don't have a clue about dance music have heard of him. Fergie is quite a well known name.

cummon people, did anyone really expect breathtaking performances from djs at the newcastle arena to start with, and whoever said he had a face like an arse, tbh if i was a dj and had been walking thru that crowd of scallies i would have thrown a pantera cd on till they all fucked off too

There are far more trance nights than just passion which put on good none for profit trance line ups.

Such is the game of superclubs.

    Heracy.

The Gallery at Turnmills is easily miles better.

Passion seems to just have Van Dyk and Tiesto on permanent rotation from what i seem to hear on here?

I'm not going to start listing nationwide examples but do you not think it's slightly ironic to accuse promoters of being in it for the money then listing one of the biggest superclubs in the country as the only ones that have any idea? ;)

Local examples are Twisted Logic & Vuzz, charging just enough to cover booking costs and getting both well known and up and coming talent on. Also, although it might be shit in the North East there are loads of underground nights putting on free/break even partys with good Trance DJ's on. Not to mention clubs out there putting bigger names on and not going for commerical success.

Like I say, such is the nature of the superclub. It's not suprising people see a re-emerging pattern.
