Not at all imo! They're supposed to be professionals at end of day... if I done that in my job I'd soon be out door too!
there not gonna ban u for life tho are they, u could walk into another job n get paid the same anytime. they cant walk into another country and get paid the same for doing there jobs
They dont get paid to play for Scotland anyway...Seems harsh but to be fair there supposed to be some of Scotlands top professional sportsmen, they'll be retired from playing before there 40 so there'll be plenty time for getting mortal and going offit in Amsterdam then
I just think along with the privileges of being a professional footballer & representing your country comes the responsibilty to act and conduct yourself in a manner that shows not only that you are 'worth' the money paid & are honoured to play for your country but that you are on a stage for all to see (and in many cases aspired to be like by kids) So getting tanked up & dicking about at the game hardly gives the impression of caring.... they're just taking it for granted and assume they will be picked again in future regardless. Which is not how it should be! Completely agree with the decision (Hardly like they're going to end up on the street regardless of whether they're paid for playing internationals anyway!)
the lifetime ban isnt for the drinking it for the fact they two of them were sitting on the bench on wednesday night giving folk the fingers
