    Flashpoint Records September Newsletter

Bonjour, Hola, Buenos Dias and How Doo, this is our 3rd installment of the Flashpoint Records newsletter. Flashpoint have been dominating the market more than ever this year, with there double header vinyl’s giving you not one but two great tracks as opposed to the standard remix option, and its easy to say that this is one of the best valued labels on the market. This months selection of tunes is no different to the previous onslaught of quality NRG with tracks from Marc Johnson, Richard Toomz, Dave Owens and Label Co-Manger Jupe all twiddling the controls.

Flashpoint 21 – Marc Johnson and Richard Toomz - Escapology

Every so often a fun filled NRG monster comes along that pleases the entire hard house crowd and this is one of those. Upon first hearing it you may not think it sounds like the releases Flashpoint have been putting out over the past 6 months but my word what a track it is. The catchy riff is one that really gets a club moving, reminding me of such tracks like the Nick Sentience remix of “Neuronex” and the OD404 remix of “No More” for the shear enjoyment you get from listening to it. The vocal, although it has been used several times before in the past, really suits this style track making it one to grab whether you’re an avid tidy fan or if the filth floats your boat!

Dave Owens – Sour Cream and Chive

Dave Owens is literally plowing out the beasts at the moment. Under his guise Curve Pusher, the track “Ignition” (Can be found on Flashpoint Digital) has been snapped up by anyone who knows good music. This is yet another boundary breaking (as well as other things that crumble to the sound of hard NRG) bruiser that just makes you wanna get your head down and get sweaty! If you have been a fan of Dangerous Dave’s recent productions such as his “insanity” Remix as well as the many face melters he and studio partner Frank Farrell (A.K.A Munkjack – for anyone who has been on Saturn for the last year) have been knocking up then this one wont be any different.
