    Football tv contracts balls up!

The EU judged this year that Sky had too much of a monopoly on football tv rights. So from next year it has to be shared out.

Sky Sports have won 3 of the 6 contracts available to show Prem football from 2007.

Looks like NTL may get some of the others.

So what was supposed to help consumers is actually gone tits up!

So current Sky customers now need cable as well.

Cable customers will have to pay for both NTL sports and Sky Sports.

hmmmmmmmmm............ I don't see how this benefits the consumer.
