Just read that it was a guy from the Ukrane (sp) who was picking the pockets of England fans, one fan gave chase and lost his life for it

typical stuck up response from you there like Mark.

Just telling it as I heard it on the bloody radio, thats exactly what they said. The bbc site says differently so I will go with that. Hardly my fault if people are being mis informed is it :spangled:

Why do u always feel the need to undermine people?

I should think it will annoy most people to be honest, including me. Like I said though i didn't just presume from random facts but from what was said on the news, which reported that a Croatian man had been arrested after a man was stabbed to death after the game last night. Clearly that is wrong, and it was my mistake to report it but its not me who got it wrong in the first place. Obviously they didn't have their facts right, but anybody hearing that wouldn't automaticaly assume that it was wrong.

Stuck up was probably the wrong word, thats not really what I meant, but you do have a habit of jumping down peoples throats at times, like me just there, and for something that wasn't my fault. It's not as if I would read the real story and then still say it was the English guys fault cos he got into a footy fight!!

i think that the only england fans out there for the matches are the real supporters, who go for the football and not to fight!

the problem is back here, where every charver and his mam who never watch football decide to turn up to the pub and turn into the most mouthy and aggressive people i've ever seen!

i don't enjoy watching the england matches no-where near as much as the club matches because of the people it attracts that don't have a clue about football, but go on as if they are englands biggest fans!

the fans in Portugal have done us proud up to now though!

There were no reports of any trouble between the English and Croat fans before or after the match

It was a straight forward robbery and had nothing to do with the football.

But what he said wasn't even mildly true. People should check their facts before come out with stuff like this, we are talking about somebody's death.

I can understand why Mark kicked off.

In today society a death means nothing to most people unless you know the person or the death has a news worthy slant.
