    National Treasure is blatantly based on it - not nearly as good though

    it's ok, very American thouh and not nearly as subtle as Dan Brown's novel. also it is basically glorifying most of America: ooh look we have the liberty bell, ooh look we have the declaration of independence. BOTHERED.

    is good for pure escapism value though.

    yeah, great book :)

    just finished reading 'angels and demons' - another of dan browns books (by the recommendation of si if im right :p ) and imo thats better still, really good stuff :)

    although thats probably just me with my illuminati interest :p
