    Foundation sounds really pants

Is there a sound engineer at foundation cause he should be shot if there is, The sound needs some serious EQin especially the hi's and mid's.

Think you should get someone in who'll make the music sound like it's meant to be heard, and not an over powering bass rumble that blocks out the musical elements(riff's and melodies) of the music.

Personally.. I think that foundation has a mint sound to it..

Theres nothin better (musically) than walkin into a dance club and bein hit with bass..

There are things that are obviously better.. such as large amounts of gorgeous females after ya.. but we have to be realistic :D

rich and anton wouldn't sound anything like as good on a less bassy systen, its reallt distinctive and fuckin class to walk in to!

i agree tho, when it gets a bit later on, some more mid and terble would b good :)

You say it sounds good but I PROMISE(sorry for the pun) you know that you would think it sound a million times better if it was eq'ed better.

I remember last time I went to promise I couldn't hear anything except bass and the drums everyone I spoke to agreed, and last nite my housemates came back and said it was even worst.

I agree bass is good but the melodies are what makes music without them music would be shit and I like to hear those melodies and I'm probably not the only one that likes a good melody.

i think there is enough treble, any more at that volume and your hearing would seriously be fucked quickly, tbh i think it's fine as it is, maybe a touch more mid, but certainly not more treble

yeah upstairs always sounds good matey, you going to ben lost tonite matey.

Luke I thought you were a producer, you should have good ears for this kind of thing, and I think the bass frequencies are doing a lot more harm to your hearing than the Hi's.

nar, you lose hi-end in your hearing first ;)

somewhere like liquid has a lot more treble at similar volume, the tinnitus is far worse after being there, for less time and my ears temporarily lose clarity a lot quicker there too

it sounds class with prog and stuff with heavy basslines and thats all that matters  and tbh even if the sound was perfect for gielen, he'd still have sounded shite.

I think it's too bassy aswell. Deffinitely needs a bit tweaking.

Yeah mate but you lose your hi's in your hearing because of constant vibration on your ear drums, this is usually caused by low frequencies.
