Gabriel and Dresden - Bloom Got this yesterday and listened to both cd's on my trusty ipod before. Great album. First CD is by far the best, floaty prog and trance which will probably be lost on the boshier european ears of today. Really mellow and percussive. Brilliant. Second CD is an attempt at a more 'trance' mix but unfortunately for G & D they seem to be stuck in the USA mentality when it comes to trance (very up and down with the pace) so whatever great tunes on there seem to be lost among some very sleepy tunes. Not a bad mix by a long stretch but just not quite pacey enough for what i imagine they wanted to be their 'dance' offering of the album. Worth getting ahold of for CD 1 alone.

Is there a 'more banging' remix of this doing the rounds... Im sure ive heard it played live but sounded different .... either that or i was trashed.
Was disappointed by this, they seem to have changed a lot of their own mixes and tunes for the worst compared to when they have played them in the past. CD1 is the best of the two- I'd hoped it's be a bit proggier than it is, CD2 seems to be a bit all over the shop. Thought their essential mix was one of the best I've heard and hoped this would be even better, shame it's not even close.
2. Elevation + Gabriel & Dresden - Athena i need to hear this. elevation have made some amazing tune imo. any1 got a rip or mp3 of this?
5. Dido - Don't Leave Home (Gabriel & Dresden Mix) This has to be the cheesiest thing ive heard ALL YEAR BUT.... This would be class as the last tune of the night *ducks*
