    Geneva??

    Anyone ever been?

Me and Rach are looking to go in early April, and really want to go skiing when we're there. It's finding to be quite difficult to find out how actual far the skiing resorts are from Geneva itself, and we are in 2 minds weather to actually stay in Geneva, or at one of the resorts. Any info would be grateful!:)

If you just want to ski stay at one of the resorts, otherwise you could end up spending more time getting there and back than skiing.

For the record, I've never been to geneva itself ;)

Yeah that's what we were thinking, but we also want to go to Geneva itself, so I don't think it really matter what way round it is, if you get what I mean.

Geneva is probably the worlds second most romantic city after Venice.

It has astounding natural beauty, esp.. if you stay near Lake Geneva and has a good nightlife with FANTASTIC RESTAURANTS.

Check out Chat Noir for clubbing, it gets Europe's biggest name DJ's.

WARNING: Drum & Bass is big in Swiss!

Millar> Its THE PLACE to take "The Bitch", and that's without even going ski-in.

DO IT YOU WILL LOVE GENEVA.

iv been, id stayed in some lodge near the lake, local travel and everything is sweet as a nut.

ps the airports 10 mins from the city centre (train it) and they put assylum seekers in jail until they are processed (kicked out)

its safe as fuck, no dodge pots or unsavorys (see above)

ITS ALL FUCKING GOOD IN SWITZERLAND!

    Sounds like Heaven tbh!

We've seen an alright hotel near the lake, fairly cheap aswell.

How far is the nearest skiing resort, any idea?
