glass injuries got glass in my hand and its healed over, wondering if simple dr's surgeries and medical centres can take it out or would hospital be needed

You'll want the hospital for that mate I would imagine, you could always ring NHS direct to check first though.
theres a surgery in seaham where yo can walk i and get simple procedures done, al give em a bell in the AM.
just leave it the scar tissue hardens around thew glass and u dont feel it after a few weeks iv got about 2 pint glasses in my hands in shards
GPs can perform minor surgery, however whether or not they will is a different matter entirely. You'd be best off calling your GPs' surgery tomorrow first and asking them whether you can have it taken out there. If not, get yourself to A&E.
