    ...what a weekend!!!!

I only saw one band/twat that didn't impress me (someone called Ceefax who just played noise).

The music was quality all day on Friday, the best breaks I've ever heard all in one day... Krafty Kuts, Freestylers, Future Funk Squad, Meat Katie, Infusion, Rennie Pilgrim, Freq Nasty & Will White. When Pilrim played 2 Freaks I was jumping around that much I smashed the platform thing I was one.

Squarepusher was superb on Saturday and then Orbital were absolutley amazing Sunday night.

We had the best way to finish off the weekend aswell. After 4 days of drinking warm cans we managed to finally get to the bar in a Budweiser tent and had the nicest beer anyones ever tasted in their lives and plenty of free ones aswell.

Roll on next year!!! Reckon my heads not gonna be back to its best for quite a while. :spangled:

The regulars (apart from you spence) get annoyed when there is no one on here, then they get annoyed when there are loads of new people on here, then they get annoyed when those new people have a new opinion that differes to theirs. The bottom line is they want everyone on here to agree with them otherwise they start bleeting and ganging up on someone with a different opinion. I mean FFS we didnt give a crap who mel B was but for a moment you thought it was melt. Its all good I say. Some people on here just winge over owt. If they got themselves real lives with real jobs they would have something REAL to talk about.

Mel B thing was funny as owt. More fakers please.

it would have been good if it was a new person - instead it's a gobshite bigot that got banned that decided to blag his way back on.

It was indeed a wicked weekend much thanks have to go to Burnsy for getting the pints and drugs in on the sunday night everytime i turned round at the stone circle he was buying more little fellas, lost track of how many i had.

Remember leaving you, Kerrsey and Burnsy in some little cafe type tent at 5.30am on monday morning yous were all falling asleep at the table so i fucked off.

The Bud tent was a proper laugh, ice cold pints and the Soul II Soul Soundsystem banging out the tunes.

    ITS FUCKING ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

nothing short of amazing! im still recovering from collapsing into a pit full of nettles and brambles when looking for a hedge to piss in.. damn those bloody fish and their pre-karma!!

much preffered this to the dance festivals cos of the variety of people there.. pilgrem was outstanding!!!

only down side was that they didnt tell us when half the more mainstream djs where on! still good to walk past the radio one stage and see timo mass + fontaine rippin it up :D

jon carters tent was really good too... stanton warriors

band wise oasis where brilliant, scissor sisters and macca where superb and franz ferdiand did good.... belle and sebastian where shite as was badly drawn boy... groove armada live were that pish i went back to see freestylers who blew the roof off :D

22-20s and the killers where the best of the new bands...

but the performance of the festival was definatley orbital, the whole thing was put together really really well especially the lighting... :worship:

was anyone djing in the glade cafe after 4 or did they just bang a cd on? the glade was deffo the best stage

deffo going back next year ticket permitting... :D

    Damn right it was

Burns ended up going missing not long after you left... Kerr couldn't find him so went to try and get the bus without his ticket(which Burns had) but had missed it. He went back to the tent to check if anyone was left but we'd all gone and still no sign of Burns.

He ended up getting a different bus (still with no ticket) and got back about 9 last night. I've ceom round theirs today and it turns out Burns had to pay £80 to get the train home and got back about 12 last night.

He says he can't remember why he went, where he went or what he did but came around at about 12 yesterday afternoon with some skunk from somwhere.

It all worked out in the end though so its all sweet. Apart from Burns having to pay £80 though I suppose.

I had a feeling they would miss their bus, Burnsy was still buying fellas at 4 in the morning or something like that he must of spent a small fortune on sun night, he got about 4 or 5 rounds in at the bud tent and all the fellas at the stone circle. Definatley a class way to finish the festival off.

Getting me snaps back on Fri so will pop upto Resistance on sat with them, only staying for a pint tho keeping off the drink and the drugs til me birthday i reckon, smoked a spliff when i got back today and it made me feel ill as fuck far to much over indulgence this weekend me thinks.

Wow! No other way to describe it.

The whole place was nad from wednesday evening till monday morning. Standing in a field with 60000 people watching the footy and the walking off n listening to Way out West on the radio 1 stage was great.

Friday by far the best day, sun out gloriously hot. It looked as tho the clouds were going around the site! Badly Drawn Boy was the perfect music at the perfect time after we had met up withe some more people from uni. The Oasis kareoke was brilliant, rock and roll star, shakermaker, supersonic, live forever - what a start to the set. Stayed up for sunrise and there was a rainbow over the stone circle.

On saturday we had more of a walk round and caught James Holden in the Glade, the greatest venue ever. Went off later to see Joss Stone  , Damien Rice and Macca. Was quality when he finished Hey Jude and the crowd continued singing it for 5 minutes!

Sunday was all about Orbital. What a way to end the festival. Every track sounded great and i got shivers when they played Satan. Also saw Divine Comedy who did a cover of QOTSA - No one knows withe a double bass solo!

Only disapointment was not spending enough time in the greenfields and Lost Vagueness

Cant wait to go back next year

u must have been at nearly every set i went to! got stupidly hammered and fell asleep half in/out my tent and left my phone on the grass outside in the rain

lol at that text.. i was stood on the side of the hill looking out over it all on the first night with all the lights, it looked like a city.. and thats all i could say - WOW! :D :D :D

i was gonna say exactly the same about orbital, the build up in satan the BANG, i couldnt stop grinning :D even the aftermath of the previous night in the glade cafe couldnt stop me smiling!

wasnt that impressed by way out west but nick played a blinder later on in the glade...

    joss stone

stumbling back from the glade cafe on sunday morning with the sun coming up over the mud at the other stage was eerie as hell.. then we dropped in on jon carters tent and carried on with some breaks an d+b :D

its is an unbelivable experience i cant wait for the next one already :D :D :D

Same here, any memories of the time I did spend there are very hazy.

I really didn't want to come home, I ended up too fucked every night apart from the Sunday and was gutted when I had to head back to the tent to get my lift.

We got there about 9am on the Thursday morning and there were already shitloads of cars in the carpark but we got in fine with no queues or anything.

Getting out we left about 7.30am on Monday and I'm told it took us a couple of hours to get out. I was asleep as soon as I got in the car so didn't even notice. :D
