    Global Underground CD's

    I bought 11 Global Underground CD's off a works site today for £30 !

Its the first time i have bought CD's from this collection and they were :

    Nick Warren - Budapest
    Nick Warren - Brazil
    Dave Seaman - Buenos Aires
    Paul Oakenfold - Oslo
    Paul Oakenfold - New York
    Sasha - San Francisco
    Sasha - Ibiza
    John Digweed - Sydney
    Danny Tenaglia - Athens
    GU Departures - Sampler
    GU Arrivals - Sampler

I presume some people on here have some of them and was just wondering what there like and if ive come into a good deal ??

    Cheers :D

Buy that lot in the shops and it would easily cost you 100 bar.

Danny Tenaglia - Athens and Sasha - San Francisco are pretty good.

Sasha's Ibiza one is probably the best one you've bought, that's a good one.
Tenaglia's Athens one is aight, his London one's better tho.

You'll probably like Oakenfold's NY one too, that's really prog-trancey, some good trax on it.

Thats a steal at 30 quid. They last really well in that you can listen to them years later and they still sound good

I've been collecting GU cd's for a year and a bit now..... have about 20 odd now.... probably spent over £200 on them, so you definately got a good deal.

Sasha in Ibiza is a cracker of an album, BT-fibonacci sequence, Cass+slide-perception, Sasha-Xpander.... need I say more?

The seaman and nick warren ones are quality prog, and as for the oakenfold in new york, also brilliant.

yeah.... a year and a half...... i bought loads off ebay too.

Theres a chain of music shops where I used too live called fopp, not seen one in newcastle yet, but they do "bargain" selections every month. And for about 5 months running they had 2 or 3 GU albums for sale at £5 brand new. Bought emerson in singapore, all the digweed ones, all the seaman ones, two nick warren ones, Howells 24/7, sasha in ibiza, lawler lights out 2, and off ebay I got a deal where I got Paul oakenfold new york, sasha san francisco, emerson in buenos aires, arrivals, departures and the satoshi tomiie nubreed one for like £10.

oh yeah, and all of the seb fontaine prototype series.
