Goa

is mint. It's about 40 pence for a beer (from a bar), six quid for a slap up meal for two people (including a couple of drinks each), and about a quid 20 for a litre of Smirnoff Vodka. And best of all, the hawkers leave you alone after telling them no once.

Not as many beach parties as there once was, but been to one great one so far at a beach called Palolem, which is very similar to Phi-Phi island in Thailand (thanks for the tip Pike). Arrived at around mid-night, and had to walk up these massive black boulders to a tiny secluded beach at the end. The party was surrounded by canvas painted in psychdelic art, with the palm trees painted in fluorescent colours. Then at around 6.30am, the organisers dropped the canvas to reveal that we we're actually on a small cliff about five feet above the ocean The sun then started rising, filling the sky with pink and orange light. Fucking fantastic, and the Goan Trance really set the scene. People then rounded off the night by diving into the ocean and swimming to a set of rocks about fifty meters into the ocean, and proceeded to party from there. Due to my intake during the course of the evening, I did not follow suit.

Off to Paradiso tonight. The write up looks interesting

Have u paid a visit to the chemists yet ?? My m8 goes over a few times a year and its suprising wot you can actually buy over the counter no questions asked for next to nowt !!!!! :angel2:
