godskitchen unlikely to go ahead!!!!!

looks like gk might not be at the arena as the police have complained to the council that the drug problem is too much of a risk and the council may not give the arena the licence to stay open till 6!!! what does every1 think???

Thank god, hopefully GK will stick to running a night club and stop with the big events already!!

they have over done it, a festival in the summer is fine, but we dont need them at the arena every few months!!

i know seems totally stupid!! one good thing though is that theres no threat of charvers comin to promise as gk gets filled with them and spoills the night! and i also agree with kerry bout how they shud keep it at code!keep it underground!!!

and you found this out how? Do you not think they would already have the license before they announce a date?

i think last year GK and Crasher killed club land by doing so many big events, it takes the fun out of it, clubbing should be underground, plus its always nice to travel to clubs, its part of the fun, bringing GK up here isnt as good, and it attracts all the charvs, i know it sounds really arrogant but i dont want loads of charva's to really get into clubbing, i couldnt imagine anything worse than walking into promise to see it full of stripey jumpers.

One big event a year, if even that, is ok, but ppl will just get sick and not go (as they are doing already) if GK over do it.

they'll get the license... events like that rake in fukkin loads of money for godskitchen and the telewest.

the security will be upped.. more police attendance etc...

just as much as it gets every other type of person. thats what makes the crowd so good!

and i would hardly say Godskitchen at Code is underground like!

Gods will keep coming to the arena every few months as long as it sells out, think of how much ££ it makes them, you'd all do the same if you were them

we get quite a few likeable charvs, but if u walked into promise one night and it was full of flat cap wearing charvs, you'd be, well, i know id be upset sort of, i wouldnt like it. MOST charvs when they go out try to cause trouble, maybe a sweeping generalisation, but its generally true, they make people feel uncomfortable and i know having the place full of charvs would put me off going, just like if promise was to do a night at IKON, i wouldnt want to go coz i know it would be full of charvs, you have to admit charvs change the way u feel when ure in a club.

more than likley, but all im saying is i dont think they should do, i think they are over-doing it, and im sure others would agree, but since when has what i think ever mattered, especially not to the big boys at Gods!!

im just giving my opinion, it isnt going to change the way they run things, i think its bad when club promoters are in it soley for the money tho!!

i agree with what u are sayin kerry but if u look around in alot of trance and hard house clubs u will find alot of the crowd are infact scally charvas.....fookin sundiss is well bad for it

IMO trance and hard house are seen as the lowest forms of dance music cos they attract alot charvas

even alot of the try hards in sundis are really scallies in ripped clothes!!!

i s'pose it is what makes trance and HH clubs so good tho, i love going clubbing to meet new people, but when i go to places such as shindig, i dont meet that many new people, simply because the people are all the same, and most of them dont bother to talk to you, in clubs like sundis and promise you get a wide variety of people, most of which are willing to talk to complete strangers, and thats what makes it good, but i still wouldnt like promise to be full to the brim with them

GK will defo have the licence for the arena. the security at the other two for the drug dealers has been very good apart from the GK own dealers, you know the big dark fellas with the black coates on. they have also had a lot of police on patrol.

ever time we talk about an event such as the arena events we always get talking about charvs, WHY? it's as if they rule are lifes. at the end of the day we need them to go to such events if we want them to continue, wether you want them to go ahead or not. we even need them in promise to an extent for the extra admissions money. we would all like a club without them but that will never happen so just get on with it and forget about them.

to be fair, all ive said is i dont mind the charvs we get, ive never had any trouble with them, i just wouldnt like to go to a club full of them, hense i stay away from IKON!

this whole convo. is a joke anyways cos we all known underneath kerry's pink glittery exterior is a kappa slapper dying to get out!
