Do you go drinking on school nights. I've just realised its probably been about a year since I went out and got steaming the day before an early shift at work. I feel old and mature

the suffering at work is too much to bear.....i'm getting old...even the thought of it makes me shudder!

we noticed

Back in my peak of thursday night drinking... on a friday i was working in some old biddys house servicing her fire..

then she offered me a cup of tea and a biscuit. and told me to sit myself down cos i looked a bit rough.

next thing i know i was asleep on her sofa with my feet up, the lot.

she woke me up around 11.30. Id been kipping in her house for 3 hours

possibly one of the funniest things iv eva herd.
bet u wer confused as fuk when you woke up! questions likes, "Have i been here since lst nite"? and "did i sleep alone" popped in ur head

Bah I can't drink much on a work night anymore.

Used to go out every Sunday to the quiz at my local and get absolutely mortal (often an all day session if there was football on in the afternoon then the quiz later) and be able to roll up at work the next day no problem. Over the last year or so though I feel totally rough, even if I've just had say 4-5 drinks.

That happened to me once but the woman wasnt in at the time. Had a heavy session at the weekend and thought Id catch 10 mins kip at morning bait, and then the woman came home n woke me up at dinner time. I was all curled up in a dust sheet!

haha i hear ya

i used to be out wed, thurs, fri, sat and sun... now im lucky to make it out on a sat without wanting a week off work

i need to stop going out and staying up all night and day

I opened my eyes and something like Trisha was on the tv, and i had to double take my surroundings. I looked about the room and saw the old wife sitting in the corner.

"Do you feel better son?" she said lol .

I was like, erm "jesus, sorry pet i dozed off". Bless her, she was a star

Oh shit another time, and im not making this up either. i just remembered.

I was working in a nursing home in hebburn. Had been fixing a heater or something down the corridor.

Well anyway, i was working with another bloke called Ray at the time, so he was doing most of the graft and i was watching.

I was on the verge of being sick anyway, so i thought i best lie down.

So heres me... Starfished on the floor in the corridor. I was on the bend of the corridor.. so anyone at the topend could only see my legs and waist sticking out round the corner.

Anyway...

I gets woken up when the warden comes running down the corridor shouting "are you alright!?!?" etc. Then she got round the corner and saw me horizontal

She thought some old fella had collapsed

Looking back at my fridays at the age of 17 makes me laugh even now
