Good Hotels in New York I'm off to the Big Apple next year and I was wondering if anyone has been that can recommend me hotels that are close to all the attractions. Thanks

Re: Good Hotels in New York New York?? whats wrong with good old fashioned (English) York. Theres a nice youth hostel in nearby Clifton Park, only about £10 for a room in a dorm, and its a short walk from UKs top attractions: the York Dungeon, and the Yorvic Viking museum Eeee, kids these days, dont know therye blooming born a tell thee
I lived there, didn't you know? that question is like asking if you know if theres any good hotels in london, but three times the size... I only know hostels really, and even then they're pretty much all the same..
I stayed in the Roosevelt (Hilton ) hotel when i was in new york , Its was bang in between the 2 towers so you prob cant go to that one now anyway
i went last year and we stopped in the beacon hotel which was cool! cant remember where it was exactly but it was close to central park! im sure you will be able to find it on the net..google it!
Re: Re: Good Hotels in New York I thought about staying there but it's fully booked when I want to go.
Fanks for the tips. I've picked a few I like. Can't wait to go but I've got to wait till October or November next year cos I've got to save for it. Got my flight cos I won them with work.
on a budget: Sheraton New York it's close to 5th avenue & times square. living like a movie star: Waldorf Towers on park avenue
If you've got money to burn my g/f is a travel agent and she's always harping on about wanting to stay in the The Waldorf-Astoria. (A Hilton Hotel).
