Do a young guns night upstairs.

another DJ comp - Charge an entrance Fee, give a few Guestlists as a prize. Just a fun comp, no heats or anything.

A VS night upstairs - Deakin's Boys VS Disko Bitch

This lad on the GG board was making a mix CD and charging people £1 each for Children in Need (which is soonish). I liked that idea.

Just have a few strategically placed buckets around the club on the night for people to chuck their spare sharpnel change into... i've always got pocket fulls of the stuff after a night out... i sometimes just leave it on the bar - owt lower than a 5p!

... 'cept in spennymoor when an un-named board member was shocked at this and pocketed 7p i'd left behind

The DJ comp is a very good idea and I reckon that could make alot of money!

Could it not be done on the same night as a Promise night? That way theres no chance of losing money.

Perhaps do the DJ Comp for the first hour downstairs, or open an hour early or something like that?

Everybody who DJ's will wan't a shot at it like, and you could even charge on a Per Round basis.

Promise Pissup - Everyone pays £2/3 to tag along

Sponsored go karting or something like that, charge an entry fee and also get sponsors off people, chances are the place could give a bit of discount if alot of people go and the fact that its for charity.

    Errr....
