Green Day Tonight I'm looking forward to this, it te only god thing about coming back from my trip!!!
I got mine off ebay for £50....well worth the price i paid...swapped my standing for a seated ticket since i knoe my mates would appreciate standing so much more than me! the gig was fucking awesome...they did.... basket case, boulavard of broken dreams, good riddance, we are the champions, jesus of suberbia, september ends they also got a kid out of the audience to squirt water from a super soaker! then they got a drummer, bass & guitar player up & got them to play a bit of a green day tune....he gave his guitar to the lad who played it! & at the very begining when people were surging forward & being crushed a bit he told everyone to help them up & to take care of each other down there! it looked manic....my mates at 1 point were off the floor & being carried in a sea of people....laura nearly had a fight with some obnoxious twat who thought it was ok to elbow people for no reason & then said that she shouldn't of came if she didn't want to get battered about! so yvoone gave him grief too :laugh:
I know the lad who was the guitar player - I met him through another forum I post on, though he rarely posts there now. Met him a few times and he's sound as. Just waiting for him to turn up again and start gloating.
That's mental, when I saw them at reading in '95, t5he crowd was mental and there were people getting crushed all over and Green Day had to stop half way through to tell everyone to stop pushing forward. And I think they did the same thing with the people on stage too. That's the right attitude to have towards your fans, and I'm really glad it hasn't changed, just gutted I couldn't go last night

I wanted to go sooo jealous you went on holiday then saw greenday Think I mite go to one of their summer dates somewhere.
