HABIT - TOM MIDDLETON - 2nd Of Feb - Cosmic Ballroom

Habit is back in 2007, with a world famous DJ/Producer that needs no introduction

    TOM MIDDLETON [COSMOS]

DJ/remixer/producer Tom Middleton became involved in electronic music in 1989 after meeting Richard D. James, better known as Aphex Twin, in Cornwall, England.

After adopting the moniker of Schizophrenia, the pianist, cello player, and former graphic-design student debuted in the electronica field with the seminal EP 'Analogue Bubblebath', released by Mighty Force in September 1991.

However, his real breakthrough came in 1994; working with Mark Pritchard under the Global Communication moniker they earned critical acclaim for their ambient house masterpiece '76:14' for the Dedicated label. Under this name they also created house classic 'The Way', which still sounds fresh today, 10 years on.

In 1999, Tom started a project called Cosmos and released the sizeable club hit 'Summer in Space'. In 2002, again as Cosmos, he released 'Take Me With You', a soaring, cyclic dance track that took the clubs and radio by storm. Soon after, he released a triple mix album 'The Sound Of The Cosmos', with each disc featuring a different aspect, ranging from tech-house through deep-house to ambient.

In 2003, he mentored the winning contestant on ITV Show 'The Joy of Decks' and in 2005, released a legendary 'Star Wars' Essential Mix.

More recently, Tom has released Fabric 26 as Global Communication, sandwiched between two very well received installments of his eclectic mash-up series 'The Trip' and has also worked with Lemon Jelly’s Fred Deakin as Cosmic Fury.

With a Tom Middleton set, expect the unexpected and then some.

Added a couple of words here and there and trimmed stuff down, but yeah, it's mostly just nicked.

I am aware of his beard . I just found it confusing that you would want to stroke it. :)

Im not big on beards like Si. Just something about them. They really scare me. I would generally hate to have one of those on my face. Imagine if you were his lass ( scary thought i know ) why the fuck would you kiss that
