Headphones Where can i buy some in and around Newcastle? I'm after something like the MDR V500! I just ordered some off Amazon, the fuckers took the money off my card then e mailed me to say they are out of stock
i wouldnt be cutting corners getting a cheap pair then m8 , best off aiming for something a bit more top spec for best results, u can often pick up sounds/noises/ etc alot better on a decent pair , cant go too wrong with a pair of THESE if u can afford em !!!
I used to have the MDR V 700's, they are shit hot, but i heard the 500's are just as good for half the price?
those sonys are alright but i guarantee you will break them within 6 months...the build quality is pish if you want to be a big hitter then get some HD25's (not the HD25SP)
nah i had 500's, then listened to my mates 700's there's a huge difference in sound quality, the cups on the 700's are larger aswell, I stil prefer my sennheisers over both though.
new mdv700's have been re-designed around the pivot point to stop them cracking i love the feel of my mdv700s, i've bust both ear cups but with a little inventive repair work they're as good as new, if sometimes a little heavy
Yup True True, mine have been tossed about abit and still work perfect, but the older ones I had did snap in that very place, but like you said, thats sorted now! Wish they did them in pink though!
Cheers lads Might just hold out till i can afford the Seinheisers i dunno, i did like my v700's when i had them though
pioneer hdj 1000's are really nice and great for mixing, i love my pair (probs because i got them for free) http://www.decks.co.uk/products/headphones/pioneer/HDJ_1000
Buy the most expensive headphones you can afford, especially if they're for studio use. Top end Sennheisers and Beyerdynamics are probably best for studio use. The Sony v7506 are a fantastic pair of headphones, but you'll have to get an imported pair off Ebay as they're not retailed over here. I have HD25s and I love them. I used to use the Pioneer 1000s and they're shite, as are the Sony 700s.
